Moved to Benjamin.my

I have decided to move to a Wordpress platform as I find it much more user-friendly for me. I suppose I am technical enough to not be confused by the vast options available in Wordpress, and in fact I love it. So yea it will now sit on the more official domain, instead of a sub-domain. :)

Find me there!

Easiest Way To Manifest Via Law of Attraction

2 months ago, I wrote an article on how Law of Attraction works in Law of Attraction Explained. In the article, I summarized Law of Attraction into this following formula:
Thoughts + Focus + Beliefs - Doubts = End Results
It was what I felt was the essence of law of attraction and how it works. Lately however, after revisiting some book that I read on this topic, I realized that things could really just be simplified into:
Thoughts (which forms a large part of your Vibration) = End Results
In essence, whether you are able to manifest your desires, is to be gauged by your ability to focus positively on your intentions. You do not need to continuously be thinking about it, you do not have to have an unshakable belief system, and even if you have a little of doubts, it's okay... Just as long as you are focusing positively on your intentions.

What does focusing positively means? Doesn't that mean that you have to somewhat believe that things would come? In actual fact, no. Focusing positively equals to living the abundance in your mind. Now it is an important rule for law of attraction that, unless you offer the vibration of abundance, else abundance cannot find you. Simply thinking or believing is not enough, if you offered your desires from a point of lack.

For example, you were going through some financial problems, and now you want more money. But more money cannot find you as long as you are still living in the financial problems, worrying about how to get the money that you desire. While it is obviously easier to be offering vibration of abundance when you are already living the abundance, it is crucial to manifesting anything, that you are living the experience of abundance PRIOR to the manifestations, or it would be impossible to manifest your desires.

But just how do you offer the vibration of abundance when you are in the situation of lack? You would have no doubt heard about visualization. It is highly recommended by many gurus and the reason is simple, it is one of the ways to feel the abundance in your mind, and subsequently change your vibration and attract the outcomes that you desire. Personally however, I have little success in visualizing my goals.

Visualization requires an incredible amount of details, and many times we just don't have it. Say you want a new car, and you are trying to visualize the car. As you are stepping into the car, what's the color of the interior? Would you like an extra cup holder? How does the air-conditioning feels? Are the seats comfortable? Etc etc. Often I do not have that level of details to be added into the picture. Hence I have very little success with visualization.

Fortunately, it is far from being the only tool you can use to manifest your desires. Here, I am going to teach you a new and more effective tool to manifesting via law of attraction!

Easiest Way To Manifest Via Law of Attraction -- Ask Yourselves Why!

Everytime when you have a new desire, and you want it to come into life, it is important to not focus on the lack. When you cast a new desire, it's almost certain that you cast it from the situation of lack. It is only through the lack of something, that you desire something. If you have the entire world, what else would you want anyway? Nothing!

Now to quickly switch from the vibration of lack to the vibration of abundance, do this! Ask yourselves why do you want this desire to manifest.

Your reason can be as simple as, because it will make me feel very happy. Or because your friend has one, you want one too. It doesn't matter. But a stronger reason would definitely make it easier to manifest. Sometimes you may not have a very very strong reason, but that's okay. Come up with as many why-es as possible.

Why would asking yourselves why work?

When you are asking yourselves why do you want this particular desire to happen, something very interesting happen in your mind. As you continue to search for the reasons, you start thinking about when your desire have already happened. Then, by thinking about the outcome of your desire, you make comparions on the differences compared to now, and most likely the differences will become your reasons to be desiring the particular outcome.

As you keep thinking about the reasons, you are also thinking continuously about when your desire has already been manifested, you will notice that your vibration will slowly raise to be more and more positive. You will have very little resistance to feel the abundance this way because unlike visualization skill, you are not trying to pretend that things are already in your life. You are finding out the reasons why. Your mind would be more than happy to accomodate because thinking about the reasons are very logical, very acceptable to the mind, yet subconsciously it would overwrite your vibration almost instantly.

Depending on the circumstances, you may not immediately achieve a positive feeling for your desire via asking why initially. That is fine, keep thinking about more and stronger reasons to support your manifestation. Eventually it will reach a point where you start to get a little excited about it, then that's a good sign that your manifestation is slowly on its way already. :)

If however, you are no able to achieve that sense of subtle excitement, you may have to reconsider your desires. Do you really want it? Or is it too overwhelming for you at this moment? If it is the latter, cut your desire down into pieces. Start small. Everybody loves to be a billionaire, but if you don't even have the first 100 dollars, then trying to manifest a billion dollars right away surely wouldn't be very easy.

Try it today!

How to Determine Your Health Via Your Daily Behaviors

This is actually an old article that I have written half a year ago on my personal blog. Since we are on the topic of health recently, I thought it would be relevant to include this for your reference. :)

The findings in this article is actually documented under Chinese medicine. I am merely translating and summarizing what I have read, and perhaps occasionally went a note further by when certain things were implied but not explicitly mentioned in the books I read.

So here we go!

Lungs

How do you know when you have weak lungs? You have weak lungs when you get depressed very easily. Have you ever realize why people like to sigh when they are depressed? It's because the lungs is not working as well and get uncomfortable, you are unconsciously trying to give it a push by inhaling more air and then push all of them out. It feels slightly better when you give it a huge sighhhh right? That's because it's not you, it's your lungs.

Also noticed why people like to smoke when they are down? Cigarettes are well-known to contain harmful toxins, these toxins once inhaled would incapacitate the lungs, causing the already weak lungs not to retaliate by not feeling uncomfortable. Eventually you will realize that smokers smoke more and more. As more and more toxins are stored in the lungs, the lungs try harder and harder to retaliate, then 1 or 2 ciggies wouldn't really work anymore, you need a lot more toxins injected to disable the retaliation.

Heart

People with weak heart, tends to get nervous easily. It's simple to visualize in modern medicine terms. When you are nervous, your blood pressure sky rocket. Heart being a key component in regulating blood pressure must have not been working as intended if you get nervous all the time. So if you get nervous too easily, time to do more cardio exercise. People with a lack of confidence, timid and shy, or non-assertive may also have a weak heart. After all it seems like when the situations arise, your blood pressure is quite readily hitting the sky without hesitation!

Liver

When one's liver is weak, the person will be very impatient. Liver belongs to the wood element. Ever notice why in Malaysia, people tends to be a lot more impatient in general? Or how people gets impatient when they are really hot but not so much when they are really cold? Because when it's too hot, fire element is too strong, then the wood element would be very weak. Liver being the wood element, would be weaken as a result.

Also, ever wonder why of all organs, only liver grows back? Because of 5 elements, only wood grows.

Stomach

A person with a weak stomach would usually have appetite problem. As such they wouldn't be consuming too much food usually. This would normally lead to lack of energy, and consequently laziness. On a side note, even if one do not have appetite problem, and eats a lot, it does not mean that all the food eaten are absorbed properly. Fat people can be really lazy or more accurately, lethargic too. Hence laziness and lethargy would be a good indicator to check whether one has a weak stomach or not.

Kidneys

If you have weak kidneys, your thoughts would be rather cluttered, unclear, and mostly inconsistent. You will appear hesitant, erratic and confused most of the time. May I go a level higher to even suggest that, you would even be dumber than you could have been because your thoughts aren't well established and you wouldn't be able to absorb informations quickly as you could. So apart from needing to pee extremely often, being very confused could be an indication that you should look out for your kidney.

Now of course in modern days living, most of us have at least one or two symptoms mentioned above. Not something to be proud of, but it's actually rather normal seeing how unhealthy our life style have become. The thing is, if you have a weak organ, try to work towards strengthening it. Quit alchohol to recover your liver; do more cardio to improve your heart; eating raw vegetables and fruits as well as nuts to work on your stomach; go out of the city for some fresh air for lungs, and quit coffee to protect your kidneys; before they go way bad.

If you have some of the symptoms mentioned above, you may have some weak organs, but they are not that bad yet. Unless you are like, extremely lazy, or depressed, or impatient, then... maybe you should check things out with a health practitioner.

Still, live healthy. :)

How To See How Conscious You Are Through What You Eat

Did you know that, one of the easiest way of seeing how conscious someone is, is probably through checking out what do they eat on a daily basis. Now by conscious, I mean it on a spiritual level, being synonymous to enlightened and awakened spiritually. Here is a nice article about the levels of consciousness out there which may interest you before continuing on this article.

A lot of people mistake financial achievements as the readings to measure against the level of consciousness. While to a certain extent, a very rich person is probably doing very right vibrationally, but it truly doesn't mean he is conscious. For one, when one is not fully conscious, he would not be able to duplicate the same level of success in other areas of life. And a lot of rich people have unhealthy body, broken family, bad attitude, and in general just don't seem that enlightened at all.

It is not easy to pin point that at what level of consciousness that a person may be considered as conscious, as being awaken. So for the sake of simplifications, consciousness in this article mainly refers to a person being fully aware of the cause and effects of decisions he makes, and assume full power and responsibility on every outcome the decisions produce.

So how can you see how conscious a person is just by looking at what they eat? Let's start with some obvious examples, drug addicts.

What do you see when you look at a drug addict? Why do so many people try to help them? Isn't it as simple as a personal decision to quit? Almost instantaneously you can point out that, drug addicts are far from being conscious. Day in and out, whenever the addiction kicks in, they HAVE to find the cure, they have to get a dose. But it wasn't like in the beginning. The body wasn't addicted to the drugs. But somehow these people made the decision unconsciously to inject more and more, eventually creating a problem within. And guess what, when the huge addiction kicking in, it's actually the body trying very very hard to detox all the toxins injected, but most drug addicts go against the body by injecting even more. Terrible!

But when we move a level up, smokers are in the same position, constantly drugging oneself, fully knowing the damages being done to the body, yet most choose to ignore and wither away.

And if you are thinking that, phew... you are neither. Surely you are quite conscious right? Moving one level up, I think most of the world falls under the spell of... caffeine! Yes you are probably stuck at this level too.

Caffeine, most commonly found in coffee, tea and chocolate, but also added to as many soft-drinks as possible. Why? Because caffeine, like nicotine, is actually addictive. It is never part of our natural diet, yet companies keep adding them into soft-drinks because it will cause you to be hooked onto their products, and without stopping, keep purchasing their products.

Drinks like coffee, as much as Nestle keep telling you that they contain natural anti-oxidants etc, they do more harm to your body than not drinking. For one, whatever benefits that coffee brings, it's counteracted by the very fact that it acidifies your blood stream. This is actually a very complicated theory, but in short... if your blood streams are acidic, your body would neutralize that by extracting calcium from your bone marrows. Continuously doing that would deplete the calcium of your bone marrows, and in a extended period, causing an unbalanced body that breeds all kind of diseases, most commonly cancers.

But since caffeine, like the other type of drugs, are considered as toxins, rest assured that your body tries even harder to get rid of them, which only means that the calcium in your bone marrows deplete even faster than usual, and leads to your early death fast!

I am actually tempted to put liquor in the same category as coffee, but I think it's in between the caffeine category and the next... processed food category.

Processed food, as much as the marketers tell you how healthy they are, is hardly healthy. Most nutrition are lost long before they even reach your hand. But on top of that, all the preservatives, colorings, msg, excessive salt and sugar, as well as other unhealthy additives are just plain damaging to your body. While it is easy to recognize the harm done by junk food or instant noodles; cereals, chocololate (again), canned food etc, are bad for your health too!

Moving another level up, we have meat. If you are this far up, I think you are quite enlightened already, having avoided most of the unhealthy food that can damage your body. But meat? Few people could resist. Many would argue that there are nothing quite like them out there that plants can offer. However, on the path of being more and more conscious, it is vital to stop eating meat.

One, how can you learn to be compassionate if you are eating the dead body of another animal (or often multiple animals) everyday? That if you do not eat any of them, you would be so hungry, not knowing what else to fill your tummy? Do you realize that meat is almost like an addiction sometimes, that even if one is offered other things to fill the tummy, one still always opt for meat.

Putting aside the more abstract issue of being more compassionate towards other beings, meats nowadays are overflowed with all sorts of chemicals and hormones injections. Even if they are not injected directly, rest assure that their food are almost certainly filled with meat growing enhancement, just so that the farmers can juice out more per head. They aren't really as "healthy" as they were once upon a time.

At the 2nd top of the list, we have of course, all the vegan foods. Vegetables, fruits, nuts, all the plantation produce are great. And if you opt for organic vegetables they are even better. Still, you will be a long way to the top of the list... Eating plain raw food!

Why is raw food so good actually? Raw food is good for a few reasons: 1st, in its most natural form, raw food is easiest to be absorbed by the body. 2nd, it does not pollute your blood stream, and is oil, salt and sugar free, something that humans really do not need as much as we are eating at the current rate daily. Finally, because you will be more attuned physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Imagine having a body free of all sort of toxins that other human beings constantly inject into their bodies, how would this body not glitter with joy consistently? And you will notice that Joy, is quite a high level of consciousness few has been able to attain.

Actually this article sounds a great deal like a health article, and I don't deny it. My point is actually that, if knowing how harmful things are, and you are still putting them into your body, what does that say about you?

When you claim that you are enlightened and conscious, yet drinking cups of coffee, swallowing big chunks of instant noodles on a regular basis, that alone is a good indication that perhaps... you are not really as conscious as you think you are, as you are unable to control your earthly desires from harming your own body. To decide that enjoying harmful food is more important that your ONE and ONLY possession -- your physical body, is rather ridiculous by any means.

So how do you see how conscious is a person? Just look at the level of harm he is inflicting upon himself everyday. :) People who do drugs are not the same as people who drink coffee, and are not the same as people who are vegetarians consciously, and definitely are not the same as raw foodists.

Admittedly, I too have a long journey ahead towards full raw foodist. Question now is, will you consciously decide that, enough is enough, time to treat your very ownself a little better by feeding it more nutritious food? And that will decide how conscious you will.

Enlightened people ask the question, "what nourishes me?". The rest just ask "what do I want to eat today?" Want... is a trap.

The 2 Types Of Depression

There are two types of depression. One tells you to just be patient; the other one tells you that it's time to change!

Sometimes, when we want something, and while the universe is happily aligning all the consequences leading up to our desired outcome, we get impatient. We started doubting ourselves by wondering why haven't things come? Where are they now? Is it going to happen? All these questions are actually casting your thoughts of lack into the universe, interrupting its grand design in bringing everything to you.

Thoughts of lack, will of course by law of attraction, attracts the lack of abundance. So fulfillment of your desires, an act of abundance cannot happen as long as you hold the thoughts of lack. Your negative emotions when thinking the thoughts of lack speak very clearly to you, about why you shouldn't think thoughts of lack. It's your soul telling you that "YOU ARE MESSING THINGS UP! STOP DOING IT OMG!"

On a smaller scale, you may feel a little unease. On a bigger scale, there you go... As long as you continue to delve at the thoughts of why haven't what you want come, your depression will haunt you. And it will grow larger and larger until it consumes you, and forces you to give up on what you wanted; effectively creating the situation of lack in your life.

Now on the other hand, depression also tells you that it's time to make a change. What are you unhappy about now? Your life? Your work? Your relationships? Your health? Then make a change! Make a change today!

Too many people resort to all sort of excuses just to avoid dealing with their issues heads-on. It is bad really. Most common issues are definitely work and relationships. Often, one brushes off their emotions and just move on, hoping that it will go away soon enough. Actually, it doesn't. Just that when depression becomes such a natural state for you, you stop noticing that it exists!

Change doesn't always have to be physical. Unhappy about your work? There is no need to quit it now now. If you have a house loan and a family to feed, heck the lack of money would make you even more depressed isn't it? But surely there is a some small improvement where you can implement straight away into your life right now.

Maybe it's just a change of attitude on how you approach your work, change of perception on how you perceive your work environment, colleagues, and your duties etc. Anthony Robbins suggests that, by changing the words and metaphors you use to describe something, you can effectively change how you feel about the certain subject. Give it a try. Instead of describing work as a "grilling hell", how about describing it as a "fantastic place to challenge your limit everyday"? Do you feel better now thinking every morning that, you are going to see how far you are going today! I bet you would feel all fired up instead of dreading work.

If work, or life is too mundane, too routine, sets a goal. Set a destination to look forward to. Reward yourself once you hit that goal. Let the reward itself be the destination to look forward to!

A simple goal could be, "I'm going to get through the 8-hour work today, and watch a movie tonight!" Or "I will get through this week and I shall invite some friends for a deep sea fishing weekend!" "By getting through another 3 months, I shall reward myself a new car!" Or perhaps a larger goal works better for you? "I will be the best of the best in my job and in the company. And I will be respectable through my knowledge and achievements." "I am going to score an extra sales every week, and eventually hit my weekly target of 2,000 sales. So that I can be comfortable with where I am financially." "I am going to save up $ 20,000 in 10 months, and start a new business, re-gaining my personal freedom!" etc.

It is very easy to differentiate between the two types of depression actually. Are you waiting for something that is coming in a foreseeable future? By foreseeable future I don't mean it as in 10 years or 20 years. In fact if it is anymore than 1 year I would seriously classify your depression as "the one that tells you to change now!"

Change something. Change anything! If it doesn't work, keep changing! Change the way you describe your situations, change your thoughts, change your closet, change your daily routine... It doesn't matter. Just change.

I hate to say this, but 90% of the time when you are depressed, it is probably telling you to change instead of being patient. :)

The Law Of Attraction Explained

Following the tremendous success of The Secret, more and more people are getting to know law of attraction. Some totally swear by it, other detest it claiming that, no way life is that simple! Personally, I have not read The Secret so my opinion may be a little off. I have however, read quite a few books from the Law of Attraction series, written by Jerry and Esther Hicks, which were more or less summarized into The Secret. My opinion of The Secret is that... I don't think it's a very good book because it over-simplifies stuff. And maybe that's why a lot of people hold a very negative opinion of the materials presented in the book.

Law of Attraction (hereby short-formed into LoA) in essence is all about, you get what you think. What you think will emit some sort of frequency vibration into the universe, and attract like energies into your life. In a very mathematical form, it means:
Thoughts = End Results
But that's not all. Only things that you believe is possible, will happen in your life. And so the equation becomes:
Thoughts + Beliefs = End Results
However, unless your thoughts are focused, most of them contains very little energy. Usually this isn't a problem except, people are very easily distracted to focus on the negative sides of things and start doubting whether one can get what he really wants. There are two ways around this. One, you cast your desire with laser beam focus. You would visualize as much details as you can without hurting your beliefs, and throw it out to the universe along with your desire. The other way is that, you need to not think about the negative sides of the things and counter your own positive attractions. Soo... just fire your desire, and believe that universe will take care of the rest. In fact personally, fire and forget have worked better for me all this while.

Hence, combining both solutions, the equation becomes:
Thoughts + Focus + Beliefs - Doubts = End Results
To elaborate on this equation, basically as long as the left side doesn't equate to negative, then you wouldn't be getting negative end results. For example, you might be thinking about a vacation a lot, but lack the focus and the beliefs to make it happen, however at the same time you are so busy at work so probably you never think about it enough to create doubts. It's probably just some of the little moments when you daydream (with thoughts created) and forget, resulting a very weak positive on the left side. Thus, while the end results will come, such weak energy may mean that they will take a very long time to arrive.

On the other hand, someone who wants an accomplishment very badly. He thinks about it all day long, very strong and focused thoughts. He has been preparing so hard so he strongly believes that he would be able to achieve it without a problem, hence strong beliefs. And although occasionally he has some uncertainties about how things may end up, the general equation would still turn out to be a strong positive. And voila, positive end results are expected!

Many would argue that the lack of action in the equation makes it false. They believe that in this world, you can't get anything without doing some sort of action. It is not incorrect, but it does not warrant an additional element in that same equation. You see, action is mainly part of the belief element. Living in such a physical world, most believe that physical action will produce physical results. It's not that action is the sole creator of all results. But the very limiting belief that actions produce results make it the sole creator. In simple mathematical sense, it means that:
Beliefs = Actions
And so, the previous equation becomes:
Thoughts + Focus + Actions - Doubts = End Results
Yet this equation is not completely correct. If you believe that doing nothing will still get you what you desire, then the equation would be:
Beliefs = Doing Nothing

Thoughts + Focus + Doing Nothing - Doubts = End Results
Of course you would argue that, who would be able to believe that doing nothing brings you everything that you want? It's just that, instead of an impossible feat, it's a limiting social conditioning that we must fight to break through. It is said that Jesus was the master of LoA, hence he was able to manipulate the reality and performed all sort of miracles. Would one day come that some of us would reach that same enlightenment too?

Since one day is most likely not tomorrow, let's focus on what we can do now. Yes I say do because action is still a very limiting modern day belief. But what we can do now is, to try to achieve more and more with lesser and lesser actions. And the final objective is to be able to attract everything that you want into your life, without doing anything. :)

Need more money? Stop working harder. Work smarter! Start a business or something. Hah! Now you have a few employees working for you to make you money while you are chilling at some tropical island. Keep trying to minimize actions needed to get what you want. Then one day you will understand that thoughts have so much more power over actions, as long as your beliefs are not in the way.

You may not be able to achieve the state of fulfilling desires out of thin air in this life-time, still fulfilling desires with minimal efforts is the way to go. This is not a world that is specifically designed to grill and torture us. This is a playground. So let's treat it as such.

As a final note, if there is any actions required to achieve anything, it is always about strengthening your beliefs. Mindless actions that do not strengthen your beliefs will never bring you any nearer to your desired end results.

The Capsules Camp: Solutions To Providing Free Shelters

Chinese have a saying. The 4 most important things (in no particular order) are, clothes, food, shelter, and mobility. I have pointed out some possible (and sustainable) solutions to providing free food in my previous article, yet free food alone is not enough. In order for anyone to really feel worriless about their lives, free shelters must be provided in conjunction of free food.

Picture of the Das Parkhotel in Austria

Back in the days, Malaysia used to have a lot of these in our playground, probably slightly smaller than the one shown in the pictures. They would stack 5 or 6 of them into 2 or 3 levels, and let the kids climb up and down of it. Frankly, it was one of my favourites as climbing the often very smooth surface of the huge pipe was super challenging for a short kid like me. These days they are no longer a common sight in the playgrounds, but we can use it for something better. :)

I want to show you the picture of the sewage pipe in action because, I believe it would be the answer to providing free shelters. As you can see from the picture, someone converted the sewage pipe into a very nice bedroom. Not just any bedroom, it's actually a hotel room of Das Parkhotel in Austria. You can have a look at their website here.

I know you must be wondering, "no way we are going to provide such a nice shelter for those lazy homeless bums", okay... maybe not like a hotel room. But we don't need the beds and the furnitures. Even at its very barebone, which is pure concrete, it's fine as it is. People want a shelter as a mean of escaping from the rain, hiding from the chilly wind, and basically just a safe place to sleep in.

The sewage pipe in the picture is slightly larger than the version I have in mind. For a slightly smaller version, it should be no larger than a single bed. Now imagine stacking 20-40 of them together, in say 2 to 4 levels, It would be a fantastic free shelter to the desperates to sleep in. No it doesn't have to have beds or furnitures. No it doesn't even have to be comfortable. But for the homeless, it would be godsend regardless.

Now if we extend these sewage pipes into multiple stacks, we get a camp. In fact, all these sewage pipe stacks don't take up a lot of space. Anyone's house area could easily accommodate a few of them. And so we can easily house a few hundreds people today just by building a few of these camps! Complete it with a huge roof covering all the sewage pipes, and maybe public toilets too, and finally some police guards for peacekeeping, we have just taken care of all the homeless people you may have in a city!

I would have called it the sewage pipes camp if it doesn't sound that awful, hence I prefer to name it the Capsules Camp as it is more pleasing.

The catch with every capsule is that, it doesn't have an ownership and it will not be allocated in that sense. Every night, anyone can drop by, grab a capsule and just rest in there for the night. This is obviously to prevent hoggers from wasting any capsule spots. But the long term effect is that, you may travel from cities to cities and just check into capsule camps, and you would not have to worry about any accomodation problem.

Now if one does not have to worry about food and accommodation, I bet half of the population would spend their time doing things that truly matter to them. A whole new era of spiritual awakening will slowly take place as people no longer find satisfaction in blindly performing tasks for capitalism. Essentially, more and more things will be converted into free exchange where deeds are rewarded by gratefulness, and the world would be such a wonderful place!

Note: I really should blog more often lol. Getting a little rusty writing articles like this.
